Counselor
Celeste Sarpalius grew up and lives in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Baylor University. She has experience teaching a variety of subjects in grades 7th – 12th. These subjects include English, Speech, Professional Communications, and Creative Writing.
Ms. Sarpalius went on to earn a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of North Texas. The focus of her Master’s Degree was Play Therapy and Filial Therapy. She spent time working for Child & Family Guidance Center in Dallas helping parents and children with mental health needs.
Ms. Sarpalius served as a K-12 counselor, academic advisor, and has also worked as a college and career counselor at the community college level. She believes that everyone should have the opportunity and tools to pursue their educational and career goals. Ms. Sarpalius is a strong supporter of the important role that parents and guardians play in shaping their children’s future as well.
She is excited to be a part of the team serving the students and families of Kleberg Elementary!

Counselor
Krystal Robertson joined Dallas Independent School District in 1999. Her career began at John Ireland Elementary where she taught 2nd grade and received recognition. She has also taught 2nd grade at Amelia Earhart Learning Center and served as a grade level chairperson. She was bestowed the honor of Teacher of the Year at Amelia Earhart Learning Center. For the last nine years, she has taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade at Sidney Lanier Vanguard for the Expressive Arts. It is there where she was a Team Leader and an AVID Site Team Member.
Ms. Robertson is a native of New Orleans, La. She graduated from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, La. with a Bachelor of General Studies. She received a Masters of Arts degree in School Counseling from Amberton University.
Ms. Robertson’s desire to become a school counselor stems from wanting to help students achieve academically, socially, and emotionally. She believes that all students can learn and succeed with proper guidance,
She is privileged to be a part of Kleberg Elementary and working with teachers, parents, and students as a community to enhance the learning environment. She looks forward to helping students become college and career ready.
